A dirty oven can be a fire hazard, as grease and oil particles build up over time, on the Hobs, fans and Extractors which significantly increases the risk of fire.

In addition to this, a dirty oven will carry harmful bacteria's which your food will be exposed to on a daily basis. We recommend that you should wipe out your oven after each use or at least once every 15th day to minimise the build up of grease and oils, and every 6-12 months have your oven deep cleaned by a professional. This will minimise the risk of your family members becoming ill. A clean oven is a safe and healthy oven.

Cleaning your oven and maintaining it correctly will save you money in time. When your oven is clean and functioning as it should, it will take less time to reach its programmed temperature and will heat your food more evenly and efficiently. This saves energy and money by decreasing the amount of time the oven is actually operating. So when you have a nice clean oven and you can see your Yorkshire pudding rising without opening the door because your oven door is sparkling clean you wont be losing valuable heat.
